Your song includes a personal-use licence. Add Full ownership & commercial rights to use it in advertising, monetised content or your business. Songs are produced with AI-assisted tools, so registrable copyright may be limited.
Every song comes with a perpetual, worldwide, non-transferable licence for personal, non-commercial use. You may play it privately, play it at a private event such as a wedding or birthday party, share it with friends and family, and post it on your own personal social media accounts.
Standard use does not include advertising, paid promotion, monetised channels, streaming-platform distribution, resale, or use inside a product or service you sell.
If you purchase the Full ownership & commercial rights add-on, we assign to you all rights we hold in the finished recording and the written lyrics, to the fullest extent those rights are assignable. In practice this means you may use the song commercially: in advertising, on monetised channels, in films and podcasts, in your business, and on streaming platforms. The add-on also includes custom cover art and a 30-second ringtone cut of your song, both covered by the same commercial licence.
The assignment takes effect once payment has cleared and the final file has been delivered. We keep no right to resell your song, and we do not create a duplicate of it for anyone else.
We may still reference the project in our own portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
The lyric video and keepsake card are derivative works of your song and carry the same licence as the song itself. If you hold the personal-use licence, they are for personal use. If you purchase full ownership, the video and card are covered by that same commercial licence.
The scan-to-play code on the card links to your private song page. That page stays live as long as your order is active. You may reprint the card as many times as you like within your licence.
Songs are produced by our team using a combination of human writing and direction and modern AI-assisted production tools. Because parts of the recording are machine-generated, copyright registration may be limited or unavailable in some jurisdictions. We grant you every right we hold, but we cannot guarantee registrable copyright in the recording.
We also cannot guarantee that automated content-ID systems on social platforms will always recognise your ownership. If a claim is raised, contact us and we will provide a signed licence document to support your dispute.
You confirm that the story, names, photos and other details you submit are yours to share, and that they do not infringe anyone else's rights or privacy.
You agree not to ask for a song that copies an existing artist's recording, reproduces existing lyrics, or is defamatory, hateful or unlawful. We may decline or refund an order that falls into these categories.
Your order includes up to four revisions. Refund requests must be made within 24 hours of delivery.
Because every revision uses studio time, refunds are tiered by the number of revisions you have used: 100% with no revisions used, 75% after one, 50% after two, 25% after three, and no refund once the fourth revision has been produced.
Once an order is refunded, the licence ends and access to the song stream and download is removed.
